They are also among the most varied, from the undulating tops of the high Cairngorm plateau to the rocky ridges and glens of the ranges to the West, Scotland's mountains form a dazzling array oflandforms. These high places each have their own special character, their history and sometimes legends.

Now released on a single DVD, this series of six programmes will take you on a
stunning aerial journey around this unique and precious landscape.
Programme One - The Trossachs to Rannoch Moor.
This journey takes us through the Southern Highlands north to the mountains
surrounding Rannoch Moor.

Programme Two - Nevis and Glencoe
We travel from Ben Nevis and the mountains of the Mamore Forest to Scotland's most famous glen - Glencoe.

Programme Three - The Grampians
This journey takes us around the high plateaux of the Cairngorms, from the foothills of Ben Avon to the heights of both the Cairngorm Mountains and Ben Macdui.

Programme Four - Torridon and the Far North
This leg of our journey takes us south from Cape Wrath to Ben Hope and onto
some of the most hauntingly beautiful mountains.

Programme Five - Skye and Kintait
From the Cuillin of Skye to the rugged peaks of Kintail. this journey takes in some of the most spectacular mountains in Britain.

Programme Six - Best of Scotland's Mountains
A look at the best mountain landscapes the country has to offer
Initially shown to wide acclaim on Scottish TV/Grampian TV as "Binnein nam Beann" with a Gaelic soundtrack, which is included on this disc as an additional option.
