Joyce Young, a BA Hons graduate of the Glasgow School of Art,
has been a fashion designer since graduating in 1975. Having
gained vast experience in the fashion industry she decided to
launch By Storm a new concept in the bridal market. The first
shop opened in 1994 in Bearsden, Glasgow.
Joyce designs for Modern Brides and stylish Mothers
and Guests who want a less formal look. Joyce’s designs
are sophisticated and flattering to the figure with a timeless
understated elegance. The combination of simplicity of line
and luxurious fabrics together with a keen eye for colour
and detail make the “By Storm Look” very different.
